I've just downloaded the latest version (Aivia-Community-x64-9.0.0.33440.exe), but when I tried to run it, I got the message "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher"
My PC:
Windows 10 64bit Pro for Workstations, Version 1903, OS build 18362.592 Dell Precision 5820 Tower Processor Intel Xeon W-2125 CPU 4.00 GHz RAM 32GB
The message appeared instantly after starting the exe file, before even starting any installer. Has anybody else had the same problem?
Hi Martin, there a new build out with a potential fix please try it and let us know. Download from here.
The main change is related to the compression algorithm used for the installer. We had recently changed to a more efficient (but less used/tested/popular) alg. and we think it may be at the root of some of the installation issues reported. We have reverted to the compression algorithm we have been using for some time. The downside is the installation file is bigger (300 MB, now).
Please test and let us know if this solves the installation issue.
