Mobile workstations / laptops prioritize battery life over performance. NVIDIA has a (relatively short) list of applications that use their board by default. For Aivia Community, you will need to specify that you want NVIDIA to handle the graphics processing instead of the integrated GPU. You can set the global settings such that the NVIDIA card is used for everything, but the method below will better help you balance NVIDIA usage with battery life:
